“I purchased the 50' coil to cut 1'pieces to protect the hot wires from contacting the metal legs of my fence line feeder. The coil was at room temp and when I cut the 1 footers they curled into 180 degree arcs which were impossible to install. I had to drop them into boiling water to remove memory and straighten them. I suppose that it would impact shipping but the 50 footers should be wound on a larger ID. The ID of my coil is about 1 foot.”
“The spiralator goes on just like it's advertised. I like it just fine except that it is really loose on 12.5 gauge smooth wire. I had to use electrical tape to secure the ends, so it stays where it was needed. Other than that, it saved a lot of time everywhere the electric fence was touching a steel corner brace.”
