Read Kencove Farm Fence, Inc Reviews

Safely contains poultry, pigs, goats, dogs, and other small animals while providing superior protection from predators. The lightweight, portable design allows the fence to be moved and set up repeatedly with no tools required. Creates pastures and enclosures in minutes.
- 14 horizontal lines, 48" height, 3½" vertical line spacing
- Semi-rigid vertical stays provide stability and help prevent drooping between posts, which could cause shorting
- Horizontal lines are spaced closer together at the bottom and farther apart at the top to provide excellent predator control
- Long-lasting, highly conductive, 304 stainless-steel conductors ensure years of reliable service
- Braided top strand provides unparalleled strength
- 13 double-spiked step-in posts are built into the netting for easy installation
- Green, 164' length
- Positive/negative netting is available for dry regions or for maximum control (NPX)

A fence charger is required to electrify the netting. We recommend a .25-joule, low-impedance charger minimum per net. (Example: 4 nets connected together requires a 1-joule charger.)

The product is good overall. My concern is that the posts are placed further and further apart since my initial order two years ago. This increases the sagging and makes the purchase of additional step in posts a must, thus raising the overall cost. It also make the moving of the fence more cumbersome and time consuming.

Nice net, sets up easy, only downside is i had to add extra poly posts in between to keep it tensioned

Was shipped on time, box was in good condition when it arrived, pulled it out and put it right up, only took about 10 minutes. So far great fence!

I brought 5 rolls of the 164ft 40 inch netting and 2 rolls of the 164ft 48 inch netting and after two seasons of using it for layers and broilers all the plastic that is molded into the netting to hold the spacing on the electric wire in place has been continuing to break off and I have not found anyway to repair it. I have 20+ broken sections on each roll of netting and now the chickens are able to walk through the fence as they please. It still works good for keeping predators out as the fence is still electrified but as for containing the chickens it has proven to now be completely useless. I would look at other brands of netting before making a purchase. The pricing and shipping where great but the product doesn't hold up after just two seasons of use.

I have used Kencove fencing products for years and the people at Kencove have always been very helpful in explaining what would be best for a given situation. I have used their electric poultry fence for many years and the fence has kept out out all ground predators. Have also used there deer fence with great success.

I bought the 48" fence to keep the plentiful groundhogs and deer out of a new garden. It worked well for that, even in sweet corn. However, I had to add extra posts between every two posts, as it sagged badly. I couldn't find long enough posts locally, so it still sagged on top with using the shorter posts I found locally. I did watch a rabbit run right through the fence, but that may have been because I put used carpet under the fence to keep down weeds and to prevent the groundhogs from digging under it, so maybe they didn't get grounded well in dry weather. I will try again this coming season with a little bare space under the fence. Perhaps with the carpet under it, the positive/negative fence would have been preferable. Overall, I was pleased with the fence.

So far he hasn't plugged it in, just using it a day at the time. When warm weather comes it will be electrified. I plan to buy one to put around my garden to try to keep the coons out. Seems to be easy to put up and move around, I am much older so I will save judgment until I get mine.
