Read Kencove Farm Fence, Inc Reviews

Safely contains poultry, pigs, goats, dogs, and other small animals while providing superior protection from predators. The lightweight, portable design allows the fence to be moved and set up repeatedly with no tools required. Creates pastures and enclosures in minutes.
- 14 horizontal lines, 48" height, 3½" vertical line spacing
- Semi-rigid vertical stays provide stability and help prevent drooping between posts, which could cause shorting
- Horizontal lines are spaced closer together at the bottom and farther apart at the top to provide excellent predator control
- Long-lasting, highly conductive, 304 stainless-steel conductors ensure years of reliable service
- Braided top strand provides unparalleled strength
- 13 double-spiked step-in posts are built into the netting for easy installation
- Green, 164' length
- Positive/negative netting is available for dry regions or for maximum control (NPX)

A fence charger is required to electrify the netting. We recommend a .25-joule, low-impedance charger minimum per net. (Example: 4 nets connected together requires a 1-joule charger.)

With the hard ground out here in East Colorado Springs I bought the double stake fence. The second one is plastic and broke on several occations when trying to get them in ground.

I got two lengths of this fence to keep chickens in and predators out. First one was perfect. Second length was clearly either used or refurbished. It came missing an end pole and the wire was spliced. I don't mind the splice as I tested it and it works just fine. The missing pole was a bit of a hassle but I was able to rig it up so it could do its job.

I ordered 5 extra poles with the fence, as I knew my terrain was uneven and I'd need extra support in these places. Turns out I really need to order 8 more (total of 13) as even on the flat areas, the distance between poles is long enough that the fence sags at the top or bundles on the bottom. (Bottom bundling results in the fence leaking current and reducing its effectiveness). So plan to order the extra poles when you buy your fence!

I use this to keep 60+ laying hens in. It works pretty well. The bottom string is not energized. The other horizontal runs are energized. The vertical runs are not energized. If the charger is down or off, they do get out so. I would not recommend using this netting without a charger. I had a break in the netting. It looked like something chewed through it. I don't keep it energized at night when the chickens are locked up, so it is possible something chewed on it then. The chewed up part was very difficult to repair. The fence did come with a repair kit, but I was not able to form joints similar to the original plastic/rubber joints that connect the vertical and horizontal members. I tried electric tape, but it looks awful.

I bought this when we moved to a new farm. Needless to say we had a lot of work to do. This fence works in weeds, water, everything. It's like the Duracell bunny. It contained my 3 horses when I needed a temporary pen for a couple days. I have a 2 joule charger for it. The animals respect it. I had to repair it when a dog broke a section when it was down. It is easy to repair and works immediately. I highly recommend. I will buy another.

This fencing is outstanding. Much better quality than I had anticipated. Very easy to setup and move. I would say out of the box to fence line took maybe 30 minutes, mostly because I didn't measure out a fence line I just put it up on the fly which required moving some of the posts multiple times to set my perimeter correctly. I would recommend this fencing to contain poultry, or possibly a medium sized dog - if you don't intend on energizing it. Energized I have no worry about it keeping larger animals out, or in depending on the case. If you want your fence to be well taught you will need more fence posts, as much as I try there is a little slack, which is fine for my birds.
