Staple Starter - Standard Reviews

4.5 Rating 47 Reviews
Read Kencove Farm Fence, Inc Reviews

Kencove's Staple Starter is very simple to use and has no moving parts to damage. Just insert the staple into the slot and hammer on the pin to get your staple started. Saves your fingers and prevents staples from mushrooming when driving into hardwoods.Once the staple is started, remove the starter. A few additional hammer strokes may be required to set the staple to proper depth.Remember, do not staple wire tight to line posts. Use this staple starter with standard fence staples up to 8 gauge and the wide staple starter (TDSDW) when using wide 2" staples (HB2W).

Would have to say that this simple tool is great, lets you drive the staple every time without bending them, would definitely recommend and buy again.

Rather than using needle nose pliers or some other finger risking method, I decided to invest a few dollars and see how this tool helped. It helps! Holds the staple while you position it on the post and after one hammer strike you can remove the tool and hammer away on the staple. Of course it will show wear after 100's of staples but that is to be expected.

Used this product to put up 5 acres of fence . This driver is a must have if you would like to keep your fingers . You may think you can hold 20lbs worth of staples with your fingers while driving them in but you are mistaken . Definitely worth the money .

It really is a cool idea. As "we" get older it seems our fingers tend to hurt a little more while hammering a staple...and miss. This drives 'em in straight, solid and no need for bandages or strange words....THANX
