“It’s very difficult to open test strip pack. I ruin at least one a week. You don’t know which end is up it is either the contacts or blood loading side. Not very sterile, defeats the whole super protective package. I’ve I got the tester so I’ll keep plunging along. I don’t think I’ll be testing my ketones for very long. So hope this was helpful.”
“I love your meter and strips. I know you foil package them for longevity but having them in bulk was easier to use. One issue I’ve found with the batch I just bought is that I will get a high glucose reading - like 115 after a 23 hour fast. So I immediately use another test strip and get 94 - which is in line with where my glucose should be if you look at several weeks. Seems like it’s happening fairly frequently with this batch. I don’t see that kind of variance with the ketone strips. I’m using the same lanced site to donate blood - so not sure why there’s so much variance.”
