“Works quickly - small sample size needed. I question the accuracy of these strips / machine for glucose testing due to it's erratic readings when compared to both my other glucometers from two different companies that ALWAYS read within 1 pt of each other. The keto-mojo has ranged from 1-10 pts different from the other two machines so far. I lined up all three machines, got each ready to go - stuck my finger and immediately went down the line filling each test strip. The results were A92/B92/KM102. After repeated episodes like this - I would only rely on the keto mojo glucometer if I ABSOLUTELY had no other option. I would not rely on it for insulin dosing.
Now the ketone testing has been a huge positive in formulating my dietary plans. Combined with the glucose readings, I have been able to tweak my intake to ensure I feel and function at my best.
I've also been able to use the data as a motivator to keep making the best long term choices available to me. Rooting out some of those sneaky mis-steps has been easier too.”
