“Difficult to open strip packets. I have to use scissors. Batteries had to be replaced 2 days after receiving keto mojo.Other than that everything seems to be working well.”
“The overall function of the device seems like a good idea. However it is not user friendly. Has issues on the app actually showing readings after a successful sync. Will not let you change filters and is very frustrating and no matter how many times I press the today button it does not show anything but a range that does not include the current date. Should not be that hard to get results. Also, I can't be the only one that has an issue opening up the strips that will not tear open for anything. Will not be wasting any money on future strips since programming app does not work well with it.”
“I noticed a bit of a discrepancy between my old glucose meter and the Mojo one but after doing the control solution it seems to have evened out. While I recognize that the packaging is very sanitary, it is not very user-friendly. I need to use scissors to cut the packaging on the individual strips and have recently accidentally cut into one of the strips. This may not be a problem at home but it necesitates me having one more thing to carry with me. Overall, I am thrilled with the unit and delighted that it syncs with my phone eliminating one more entry I have to do.”
“Overall, I like the meter. It is very easy to use. Just insert a test strip and wait a few seconds to get the results. That said, the lancets can be a bit tricky to use. On several occasions, I found that I had not inserted one correctly, resulting in insufficient penetration in the skin to draw blood (even at the same depth setting, which for me is 4). The main shortcoming, however, is the app. For one thing, it doesn't sync well. I often have to repeatedly open and close it to get it to sync. The design (e.g., layout and graphs) also leave much to be desired. It's not intuitive at all. I may just want to see my ketone readings, but it keeps showing my glucose numbers, and I have to repeatedly press the ketone button before the data appears. Redesigning the app would make this product much more appealing.”
