Incredibly simple to use, the Ketonian Kit is reliable, compact and really well made. The instructions are clear enough that someone who's never done a blood test at home, like me, can perform it without any problems from the very first try. And if this wasn't enough, it made me really happy to know my meter has a lifetime warranty :) I totally recommend it!

Every second keto strip is not working. Getting error code: "try new strip". Wast of money. The lancet device is not deep , I need to make 2-3 shots to get blood coming out.

Hello Mikhail, Thanks for taking the time to send us your feedback – our #1 goal is your success so I’m hoping to figure out what’s going on and help you to understand the error messages and how to fix them. Using the lancet in most cases is not that is it not going deep enough but that our lancets are ultra thin. It may be that you need a larger lancet needle. Or just help to get a better blood drop, It is important to never attempt a test if you do not have a big enough drop of blood, It will just cause errors. Here is a link for better blood flow, https://help.keto-mojo.com/l/en/article/sgu52t9d7h-tips-for-better-blood-flow You didn't give us much information on what errors you are getting, so I’ll give you a few tips to get you back on track. It is not unusual for a new user to experience errors when getting started as blood testing is a skill that requires practice to get good at it. The good news is that we have plenty of resources here to help you – your first step should be to contact our amazing Customer Support team and talk, email or chat with them directly. They are there to help you be successful with your testing – find them via “Contact” on our website. Here are a few common error codes that you may have experienced: E-F Error: The F is for Fill. This means that the strip did not get enough blood to give you an accurate reading. You need a drop about half the size of a match head. Some people also try to put the blood ON the strip, but the blood needs to get IN the channel on the strip. Just touch the very tip of the strip to the very top of the blood drop and the strip will then draw the blood up into itself using capillary action. E-U Error: The U is for Used. Rarely does someone actually put a used strip into the meter, but if you put the blood on the strip first and then insert it into the machine, it will think the strip has already been used and give you that error code. Also if the meter is not ready for the blood sample, you will get the E-U error. When testing it is very important to wait for the meter to go through a full check of the strips. You will see CH than the code of your strips and a blood droplet. At this point, the meter is ready for a blood sample. With the strip in the meter, you can now test. E-2 Error: This error means the machine "thinks" your strips are expired. Our strips don't expire for 18 months after manufacture date and six months after you open the vial. The expiration date is printed on the side of each box as well as the vial. If you have accidentally advanced the year past the current year, the meter will think the strips are expired. An easy fix is just to set the year to the proper one. We recommend practicing with the glucose strips as they are less expensive. We have created a bunch of short, instructional videos - you can watch the videos here on our website, and on YouTube, to get a better idea of how to test. We also have comprehensive Help Docs and FAQs on our website which are easily searchable. Please contact our amazing Customer Support team as they are trained to help our customers be successful with the testing procedure. They have an incredible track record getting people on the right track to testing.
