“I don't think in the only one, but I wasted 3 strips when tying to use the meter for the first time. The issue was that not enough blood went on the strip. When I finally got it right, the measurement was quick and presumably accurate. Great way to ensure that you're still in ketosis.”

When I finally got it right, the testing was super easy and not at all painful. “Despite watching a few different videos first, I STILL had errors the first couple times I used the machine. This really frustrated me because I went out of my way to learn about the possible issues beforehand—plus, I have experience with glucometers. The customer service was great & I now really like my machine so far—albeit I’ve had 2 correct results & yet another type of error! This machine is nice, but very fussy! Make sure you warm your fingertips & completely dry them off before obtaining sample & just gently touch blood drop with edge of stick, or errors will occur. I do wish they had a ketosis guideline chart included with the meter, but they are easy enough to find on the internet. This is a newer company & I think they are off to a promising start!”
