“The meter is excellent. The test strips are great, the meter is easy to use and easy to read, the results are fast and accurate - love everything about the meter! The lancet device is pretty lame. It's way over complicated and the lancets don't fit easily into the top. Poor design overall. I have a different one from a plain old blood glucose test kit that I'll continue to use, so it's not a big deal. But I love the meter and will recommend it to anyone!”
“I purchased this to test my dog. The lancing device drew just enough blood to test the ketones, not the ketones and glucose. Reloaded the lancing device several more times, set it at the longest needle depth and tried several locations on her body but unable to draw more blood. Tried again today and still unable to get a drop. So glucose reading will have to wait. Plan is to purchase a different lancing device. As far as the ketone reading, it only registered “Lo”. So far it has been a bust.”
