Next time you color your hair, to ensure proper gray coverage, make sure to not skip Color Prep! Our product Color Prep was designed for going from very light colored hair (especially gray) to a darker color. Color Prep is a primer, which ultimately provides pigment that is missing in very light (or gray) hair. It gets the hair prepared for further coloring with your preferred khadi Natural Hair Color shade. Let Color Prep process for 60 minutes, or up to 120 minutes, for very resistant grays.
After coloring with our khadi Natural Hair Color, we recommend waiting 24-48 hours until fixing your hair color with our Color Care Hair Oil. Use 2-3 pumps and evenly distribute, making sure to focus on areas that you've colored. Let the oil sit for 30 minutes, or up to an hour. Shampoo and condition your hair as usual.
Please note that our hair colors work best when using all natural based products. Avoid products that contain silicones, or other film formers as all these ingredients do not work well with our hair colors. If you need to remove product buildup, the best way to do so is by using our Detox Mask, as it will prepare the hair and provide a clean slate for Color Prep or your desired Natural Hair Color.

Thank you for reviewing our Duo's. If you notice that your hair color is ever pulling orange you have a few options-
The first option would be to mix a tablespoon or so of one of our darker shades, this will help cancel out some of the orange undertones. Second option would be to mix Senna/ Cassia (Color Free Hair Color) with your preferred khadi Natural Hair Color shade. This will make any of our Natural Hair Colors more translucent. The third option only applies if you have no grays that need to be addressed, but it would be to let the color process for half the recommended processing time. This third option especially applies to our blonde color shades.

“I have been using henna to dye my hair for decades (I went gray in my 30s). Most recently I had been using Surya Brasil's henna cream, when I learned that it might cause hair to fall out. I searched for a truly 100% natural henna product that would do the job...and I found khadi ash brown henna and color care oil. I am very pleased. I had gray roots and copper red hair; after leaving it on for about 90 minutes, khadi henna colored my hair one lovely, rich, uniform shade of brown.
