“I've been adding this collagen powder to my smoothies. It dissolves easily enough, and it doesn't have a strong taste. I've noticed my nails seem a bit stronger, which is a plus. Hard to say about any other benefits, but I'll keep using it.”
“Ok well I don't like the taste! I think it's best to mix it with something quite strongly flavoured to disguise the fishiness of the powder. It's also a bit tricky to mix in fully so you can still detect the powder when you drink it, like there's an unexpected texture to your drink. I think a smoothie is probably the best way to hide it.Despite all that it's possible to get used to it and drink it without too much trouble. To be honest I haven't noticed any difference in my skin. Maybe I'm just naturally gorgeous!”
“I’m a big fan of Kiki Health. I’ve been fortunate enough to use a lot of their products over the years and have implicit trust in their provenance and quality. This is such a big thing when it comes to the Wild West of supplements as there are so many out there that you could choose from. But these are one of the brands that I buy from myself and also recommend to my clients, as I am a nutritional therapist. Now, let’s get the only downside to this out of the way and that is the taste. If you are into functional medicine and biohacking, then this is not something that would be fine for the taste of it but you’ll be looking for a function is in terms of how we can help your health. But it is worth noting that it tastes, vile I mean it is made of marine collagen so the fact that it’s fishy is a really good thing because it is what it’s made out of. I do this in to my blueberry collagen smoothies and you can’t detect the taste, but for those are a bit more sensitive, maybe you could. But that’s really the only small negative for this.I love the ingredients of this really synergistic and support skin health. Supporting gut health and health. It’s supporting your overall health. I would love this in a bovine collagen instead. Shall keep my eyes peeled to see if they make something like that……”
“This is one of my most favourite containers as it looks great and is grand quality. I cannot vouch that you won't be ingesting any nasty additives with your dose of collagen as I have not studied the ingredients very closely, but I have to say it does not change the taste or texture of your hot chocolate, so I am happy so far. It seems to work, so I am hopeful. It is also easy to measure and add to your drink. So, overall, happy.”
“I've been adding this collagen powder to my smoothies in the mornings. It mixes in easily and doesn't have a strong taste. I can't say I've noticed any dramatic changes in my skin or hair yet, but it's a good way to get some extra protein and collagen in my diet.”
“Each serving is about 10g which means that there are 20 servings. With 7.5g of collagen per serving, I think it's a supplement worth taking. It's a good product and I would recommend it to anyone.”
“I’ve seen this elsewhere on the net for almost thirty pounds so at just over twenty-one pounds for twenty servings (two spoonfuls a day) this is pretty good value. It has a slightly fishy taste if you let it linger in the mouth. I mix it in the vortex mixer I use for protein shakes. In that mixer it mixes quickly and doesn’t leave any lumps. There is a mild sediment like texture to the drink but I wouldn’t say it was gritty if it is mixed correctly. I’ve used it for three weeks and my skin and nails seem better already. The expiry date was more than two years in the future.I understand this is available in capsule form which is a little more expensive but as long as I have my mixer handy I’m happy to stick with the powder.”
