“This powder looks to be extremely nutrient-dense. It doesn't taste the best but that is not a complaint for me when it comes to supplements as it measn there is less rubbish added. The best way I found to ingest it is to sprinkle a bit on my food. You only need a light sprinkling about haf a teaspoon.”
“This is a fine brown powder, in a small brown glass bottle with a foil seal and a screw cap. There is a Best Before the End of date (BBE) printed on the bottom of the bottle 3-years hence. Though at 1g per day the 50g bottle will last less than 2-months. It is suggested that you add about half a teaspoon or 1g to smoothies, hot drinks, porridge, cereal, sprinkle over hot food in general or add to hot water and drink. The powder on its own tastes bitter but used in the way suggested and the resultant concentration, it has little or no effect on the taste.Reishi is claimed to have antioxidant properties that can boost your immune system and reduce inflammation, stress improve sleep and reduce fatigue. It is also claimed to reduce the severity of Chronic Fatigue and help regulate the body’s testosterone levels, as well as reduce high blood pressure and cholesterol. Traditionally, it has been used for the heart, asthma and much more making the mushroom highly coveted, rare and so, expensive. This is Organic Reishi mushroom extract, which is presumeably why it is so expensive at 45p per serving. Research suggests that it is best to take Reishi supplements between 5 & 8pm to give it time to help with sleep.”
“This is a 50g jar of organic reishi powder. It has up to 50 servings. You can add a bit to your drinks. I also add a bit to mushroom soup when I make it. It tastes ok when it is mixed with other stuff.I'll have to see how I get on with it.The current price of £20 for 50g is expensive compared to other sellers on Amazon. You can get it a lot cheaper than this.”
“I really wanted to like this because I’d read of the health benefits but not for me unfortunately. It’s like drinking bitter mud! The only taste I can compare it to is bad coffee but adding a drop of milk didn’t nothing to improve it. Personally, I’m going to try capsules instead for more convenience.”
“I have been using adaptogen mushrooms for many years now, so am always on the look out for new suppliers, and companies that make mushroom products. These seem to be of good quality, and the fact they use just the fruiting body is a huge bonus, so many companies say they use the whole mushroom, but most of it is actually the grain and mycelium and not the fruiting body of the mushroom.Always be on the look out when buying mushrooms of that.no filler, nothing but mushroom. The issue I have with these is that the picture shows capsules in a bottle but you are only given powder, so don't be fooled by the photographsAm looking forward to feeling the prolonged benefits of these amazing mushrooms.Would recommend”
“v.good orgaic reishi mushroom powder.arrived well packaged and sealed.taste flavor, versatile use and full of good benefits. I like in my coffee and smoothies.good value for money / quality.”
“This is powdered organic Red Reishi mushroom, the one most common and used in traditional medicine for over 2000 years. Claimed to be beneficial for boosting the immune system, reducing inflammation due to the antioxidant properties within it. I cant verify if it does this not only because I've only been taking this powder for a short time but its difficult to measure. I would like to think its doing some good.Easy to take in powder form and not that noticeable when mixed with food or drink at 1/2 teaspoon serving. I tend to add it to my breakfast or smoothie. This is at the time of reviewing expensive for the amount but its organic and 100% from fruiting bodies which no doubt has to be factored in to the cost. Comes in a screw top sealed glass jar with a March 2027 best before.”
“She gets to sprinkle it in my food as I refuse point blank to eat mushrooms, this way I get all the goodness without the taste.5 stars for making her happy.
