“What a great thermometer! I love the fact that I can use it with or without the app. The app is pretty cool also - you can make different profiles (5 in our household!) with different little avatars. My older kI'dos thought it was fun to choose which animal they wanted to be. I love that it automatically saves the temperature readings. No more trying to remember what the temperature is when talking to the RN or doctor! Another great feature on the app in my opinion is the little elephant that comes up on the screen to distract the kI'do while taking the temperature. It even made it fun!
I'did test the thermometer against two others in our household and found that the Kinsa thermometer is accurate. This is always a worry of mine with a new thermometer.
All in all, GREAT thermometer and totally worth it for the app. I'll be using this for years to come.

“I love this thermometer. I've trI'd all different kI'ds (forehead, under the tongue, etc) and this one is by far the quickest and most accurate! Wrestling a toddler to take a temperature is one of my least favorite things. So I can appreciate the quickness that this thermometer offers!! Usually I quickly put it in their armpit while I'm changing clothes. It takes under 10 seconds to read. I rarely use the app, but when I'do it is nice to be able to track how long my baby or toddler has had a temperature and if it's rising or falling. Each kid has their own profile. This thermometer is also durable. This thing has been dropped and bent in all sorts of ways and still operates without issue. Would 10/10 recommend this to anyone!! “This thermometer wasn?t everything I hoped it would be. Overall the basics work: the thermometer takes temperatures quickly and you have the option to log temperatures in the Kinsa app. It worked great the first time I used it, but I had issues later. When my LO was warm I grabbed the thermometer and kept getting an error message when trying to use it. At this point I also realized how hard the tiny on/off button is to use with a wiggling chI'd in your arms. Later, I trI'd looking in the app for a user guide or what the error message meant, but didn't fI'd anything. doesn't make sense to not include instructions in the app. I was eventually able to get a temperature for my LO, but then the app saved it as oral, even though it was underarm. I am not impressed with the storage included either, which is little more than a resealable baggie. Thank you to Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing this thermometer to try.”
“I received the Kinsa QuickCare Smart Thermometer as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. I'm a mother of 2 young chI'dren and fI'd this thermometer extremely helpful. Temperature reading is very fast with a big bright screen and if that didn't distract the kI'dos already, the app has an elephant with the loading bar that further distracts while waiting for their temp to be read. The thermometer is made out of a flexible silicone and does not need the app to function. The app is very easy to set up, and comes with a good amount of helpful functions including symptom checker, diagnoses, medication remI'ders, etc. which I think is really neat. You are able to save temperatures and other information. I love the follow up props after temperature reading regarding symptoms. I would definitely recommend this product even if you have an existing thermometer especI'lly if you like to self diagnose or overthink sickness symptoms.”
“The Kinsa QuickCare Smart Thermometer was given to us thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel. I was able to download the app in less than 30 seconds and it was about a 5 minute set up because I needed to enter in each of my family members and their date of births. My youngest is 1 so an oral temp from her is nearly impossible but that?s ok because the app will actually set your thermometer for rear temp taking if it was necessary. I tested it on my 3 year old though and set it to oral temp taking. He did it like a champ and then the app saved the data right to my phone and popped up a chart explaining that he had a normal temp and all was good. It even gave me a section to add any symptoms he may be experiencing. Super great for tracking things, especI'lly with 4 kids!
My favorite feature, I think, is that the thermometer is super flexible and soft so it's not as intrusive or uncomfortable for little ones. It really is the best thermometer I've used so far with my kI'dos.”
“I have trI'd a wide variety of thermometers on the market, from fancy ear/temporal to good old "regular" thermometers. When I got the opportunity to try this thermometer as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel, I was skeptical. This seems like just a "regular" thermometer with an app that I would likely never use. Well, I am changing my tune. With my first kid, I could easily remember what his temperature reading was, what/when meds were administered, and any other symptoms. With two little ones... not so much. I actually really love that it will automatically record the temperature and the time and then you can add in meds or other symptoms. In the age of telehealth, you could even screen shot that data to your doctor! The thermometer itself works well and is fast enough to get a temperature reading on a three year old before they get distracted. I would describe the thermometer as working well but not "reI'venting" the thermometer itself. But, if you're in the market for one, this is a good one!”
“My kids loved the shape and color of this thermometer. We?ve always used the old school one that?s white and has no character to it'so this was a welcomed change. “I am so impressed with this Kinsa QuickCare Smart Thermometer. We've had the hardest time fI'ding something that my 3 year old will use without a fuss and we've struggled to get accurate readings. This is at least our fifth thermometer we've trI'd since she came into our lives and the only one that she will tolerate. She's even started asking for me to take her temperature at bedtime because she likes the images on the app (and to delay bedtime in any way she can!). The app has a cute elephant graphic that helps them count down the time they need to hold the sensor under their tongue. it's super easy to use and the app allows you to quickly set up I'dividual profiles for each family member. I love that you can see the history and that the app keeps track of it for you in case you need to call the doctor's office. it's just one of those products that is simple to use, works exactly like it'should, and makes your life easier.
