“Wish I had this thermometer sooner! With three kids, keeping track of everyone's temperatures can be a challenge. In the past I would try to remember to save the reading in my phone notes and hope I'did it when relaying to the nurse later. This thermometer has an app that does that all for me! Plus I could store timing of medication so I can ensure I am keeping on top of kids medication (bonus when there are multiple sick kids in the house). Like anything, the app only works if I use it with thermometer - so no guarantee I will but I liked the idea and it was easy to use. Even without the app I really appreciated how fast the thermometer took a temperature reading. We've had standard thermometer's in the past and kids always complained how long it took to take a reading. Now my older chI'd (8yr) didn't enjoy the texture of the stick for oral reading, but it was over so quick it wasn't a big deal. “I like to thank Stellar Product Testing Panel for this unique, awesome, and quick thermometer. First I was a little uneasy about having to download an app and using the thermometer. That task seemed a little daunting. It literally took a quick second to download the app and even quicker to access and use the app and thermometer. Once downloaded you do a quick registration for the app which includes email and password. Once registered, you can register each chI'd into the app. It then instructs you to make sure Bluetooth is enabled on the phone and then you can'turn the thermometer on. There is one simple button located at the end of the thermometer and that?s that. it's paired. To take a temp, you simply turn it on and choose a location (oral, axillary, or rectal). Once on it doesn't even take the estimated 8 seconds for a reading. It takes about 5-8 seconds and I was able to take a reading while two other chI'dren ?thought? I was occupI'd. Also as a busy mom and nurse this quick turnaround is AMAZING. And amazingly enough once a temperature is taken it'sends directly to your phone (app) and you'receive a notification very fast. The app also keeps track and collect other symptoms that you may be having as well. I also love that if you don't know if the temperature is high there is a smiley face I'dicator that lets you know things are fine ( smiley face)and fever ( frown face). The thermometer itself is also flexible and soft which is great for the baby, my 2 year old and my 4 year old. I absolutely love that the app is easy to maneuver and the thermometer is fool proof as well. I am in awe and super excited. First, in a time when temperature taking is EVEN MORE imperative than before, it is great to have a reasonably priced, accurate option like the Kinsa.
My son gets fevers relatively frequently and my husband and I are not both always around when we take his temp and administer medicine. We usually text one another the temp and the time.... not with the Kinsa! We both have access to the app and can easily check and remember what the temp was and when it was last taken.
The thermometer is SO quick! I feel like I wait for minutes with our other thermometers. And with a general sense of what our typical temperatures are, I fI'd the others to frequently be inaccurate. Major frustration!

“I've always kI'd of thought a basic thermometer is good enough, but the perks of the Kinsa have changed my mI'd. The number one thing I like about the Kinsa is how fast it reads your temperature. I have another thermometer that is a ?quick read? but the Kinsa far surpasses it in how fast it takes the temperature. Having a baby and toddler, this is a huge benefit as they are so squI'my. My toddler also loves watching the little elephant on the app as she waits for her temperature reading.
The other benefits that make me feel like the perks are worth getting the Kinsa instead of a standard thermometer are the app that tracks everything for you. The app was easy to install and use and allows you to track temp as well as if the temp was oral, under arm, or rectal. You can'track symptoms and easily switch between family members. There is also a quick link to check illness concerns for your local area.
The thermometer itself is reliable, lightweight, and has an easy to read screen. It also comes with a small zipper bag for storage.
In a time where we are taking temperatures often, this is a thermometer I would definitely recommend.

“With my baby?s recent release from the NICU, it was important for me to have a reliable thermometer I could take her temperature with every 3 hours. I received this product through the Stellar Product Testing Panel and it has proven to be the perfect match for our family! It also came just in time, as my 3 year old started running a fever right after its arrival. The reliability and accuracy of this thermometer gives us peace of mI'd. With a newborn and a lack of proper sleep, the app proved to be extremely important as I'don't have to rely on my own faulty memory and instead, can easily track temperatures, medication dosages and times, symptoms, and even set remI'ders for myself. The app also helped me to easily share all of this information through the timeline feature with the doctor when I took her to urgent care. The best part of it all is I can easily track both of my kids with the same thermometer through profiles that are simple to navigate through the app. I love that the app gives suggestions on next action steps based off of recorded symptoms, and even tracks your local illness risk.
Furthermore, the Kinsa thermometer has a sleek, lightweight and flexible design, and is easy to keep clean. It does not require covers which makes it even more convenient. It is quick and efficient - providing accurate readings in seconds - is extremely reliable, easy to use, and the app is also very user friendly and convenient to say the least. “I was excited to receive this thermometer from the Stellar Product Testing Panel. I've owned several simple probe thermometers over the years. I've never felt the need to upgrade, but it is annoying to try to keep it in place on a screaming/curious infant/chI'd while having to wait for what seems like forever for the temperature reading to stabilize. The flexible stem on this thermometer means the probe stays in place even when the chI'd is trying to grab at it. Also, the reading was done within seconds. I also love the app it'syncs with; it automatically store previous temperature reading, and you can set up profiles for multiple I'dividuals. This is amazing, because what sleep-deprived parent is going to be able to answer a the nurse's question about when they last took their sick chI'd's temperature, and what the temperature was otherwise?”
“I received the product as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel and am sure glad I'did! My old thermometer broke without my knowledge. I was using it with the kids and was wondering why it was giving me different readings. When I opened the package for the Kinsa QuickCare Smart Thermometer, the kids were excited to use it. I trI'd it on two of my four chI'dren and it was quick and so easy to use. I usually dread having to take the kids? temperature, because they never sit'still, they get tired of holding it in their mouths, and they keep taking it out to look at it. But not with the Kinsa thermometer! It took their temperature in 30 seconds! I also downloaded the app, which was super simple! The app received the temperature reading the same time as the thermometer. The app, which I'downloaded to my phone, had a place for me to save each family member?s name and gave them a unique icon, which the kids loved. “As a mom of three, I am very familiar with how stressful it can be if one of my kids gets sick and how much energy and time it takes to take care of a sick chI'd. I love that this takes one of the things that I usually have to do - tracking temperatures - off of my plate. it's definitely a comfort knowing that when I call the pediatrician, I have everything saved in a way that's super easy to get back to without having to remember to write it down - especI'lly since I can keep track of symptoms and meds in the same place! The temperatures we've taken so far are also pretty consistent which I appreciate. With a squI'my little kid, it's usually pretty hard for us to get a high quality read each time, but this thermometer seems to get pretty close. Design-wise, I like that the thermometer is slim, flexible, and modern looking and love that it comes with its own travel pouch, something which I have always improvised in the past with a plastic bag. I stick a few disposable thermometer covers in the pouch with the Kinsa and it goes straight into our travel bag!
