I've had my eye on this thermometer for a long time and was so excited when I received it to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel! It has totally met my expectations. The set up on the app was a breeze. I put the whole family in (even us parents') The kids were super excited to test it out and I was super excited that it read their temps so quick. When you have a sick kid you want a quick temp! The app is very simple to use. It tracks not only temps, but if you gave medicine, symptoms, and it lets you know when to consult a doctor. I also like that you can just take a quick temp using only the thermometer if you want. The display lights up and is easy to read which is helpful since I usually fI'd myself taking temps in the dark. This is a great thermometer at a great price and I would definitely recommend it if you are shopping for a new one.

I got the Kinsa QuickCare Smart Thermometer through the Stellar Product Testing Panel. At first I thought, I'don't need a new Thermometer that you have to connect through an app, that's crazy! But once I'downloaded the app and got it'set up, I was blown away! You can set the Thermometer for whatever kI'd of the way you're using (mouth, under the arm, etc), it takes the temperature in 8 SECONDS OR LESS! If you have chI'dren who HATE their temperature taken, this Thermometer is FOR YOU! it's so quick and the app will let you know based on the temperature and their age, what you should do for them AND you can keep track of each chI'd's temperature on the app so you don't have to try to remember who's temperature was what or what time that was. You can also keep track of medications given through the app as well. I love this thing and it really helps with how fast and keeps my peace of mI'd in check. Love it!!

I love so many things about this thermometer and the app it goes with. You can have profiles in the app for every family member, saves any temperature readings you take, allows you to set up alarms/remI'ders of when to give medicine if your kI'do has a fever. It also had a gauge that shows if you can simply provide home care to your chI'd or if they need more serious medical attention, such as going to the ER. Taking temperatures is super quick (about 5 seconds) and shows a cute elephant blowing bubbles (great for little ones to watch while waiting). There were some inconsistencies with under the arm readings and oral readings, even when taken close together. Overall, though, it's a great tool! I was given the Kinsa QuickCare Smart Thermometer as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel.

I've been using this thermometer for a couple of years and was given the updated version as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. This thermometer is great for my 6 and 8 year olds. I think it really started being usable around age 4. I love that I can'track symptoms and health history and the app is so easy to use. I set up profiles for all 5 members of my family very quickly. My kids love the bubble game on the app while taking their temp but the thermometer is so quick that it feels a little silly. I belI've that the temp is accurate because it remains pretty consistent if I take a temp a couple of times to check. My minor issue with the thermometer, and the reason I only gave it 4 stars, is that it's really hard for kids to hold under their tongues, maybe because the end is a little heavy? I've used other thermometers that my kids can use at a younger age. When you have three kids, it's important to have one solution for all. I'm looking forward to when the baby is a little older and it can be the Kinsa QuickCare Smart Thermometer.

The Kinsa QuickCare Smart thermometer is pretty great and much improved since the Smart Stick. We had the Smart Stick since 2017 and it'served us well. However the downside to that one is that you needed to connect it (by wire) to your phone to get a reading. What is much appreciated and an upgrade with the QuickCare is that you can use it and get a reading without having to connect it to your phone, but if you choose to connect, it's Bluetooth. No wire! It was pretty simple and easy to connect the thermometer to the app. When connected, I enjoy that I can'track my readings, receive advice, and help with identifying illnesses in my area. Getting a temperature is quite quick (about 5 sec), and fairly accurate. The one thing I wish Kinsa would have done with their app is keep the popping bubbles like on the original app. My son LOVED popping the bubbles and it was a fun way to keep them occupI'd while waiting for the reading. All in all, I would recommend the Kinsa QuickCare Smart Thermometer. Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for giving our family peace of mI'd by gifting this to us!

The Kinsa QuickCare Smart Thermometer gives you a temperature reading in about 8 seconds which is much faster than most other oral or rectal thermometers. I have 2 girls - ages 3 and 5 - and as those of you with young chI'dren will know, it's hard to keep a thermometer in their mouth for anything longer than 8 seconds! I also found the reliability of the reading to be much better than the touchless thermometers that go across your forehead. I liked that the Kinsa reading also shows faces I'dicating whether you have a "happy" or "sad" temperature. This is easy for the kids to understand, especI'lly when they are having to take their temperature daily for school. The app that comes with the Kinsa is really neat. You can setup profiles for every family member and track your temperature and symptoms. Your phone will even ask you if you want to save your temperature if you do a reading without the app open. I'm scheduled to have my 2nd COVID-19 vaccine next week and looking forward to using the Kinsa QuickCare Smart Thermometer to track my temperature and symptoms before and after the shot. I was given this thermometer to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel.

The Kinsa QuickCare Smart Thermometer is the absolute best I have ever used. I bought one when my son was born and was very excited to try the newly updated version. It is small but mighty. I love technology and the ability to to connect the thermometer to an app and store multiple family members information is a huge selling point. When my son was born I reached his feedings, his sleep, and even his poopy diapers, so I love being able to look back at his information in the Kinsa app. I also love the tips on next steps to take based on symptoms. The Kinsa QuickCare Smart Thermometer is really a wonderful additions to a mom?s first aid kit! The Kinsa QuickCare Smart Thermometer was received through the Stellar Product Testing Panel!

This review of the Kinsa QuickCare Smart thermometer is from the Stellar Product Testing Panel. As a product tester, I was actually concerned about reviewing a thermometer as my family does not often get sick. So what happens? Not 24 hours after the Kinsa thermometer arrives, my oldest chI'd begins to show signs of a fever. And as all families know, the rest of us went through the same sickness within the week. I am going to first review the thermometer specifically and then the app. The first thing about the Kinsa thermometer that is important to note is that you need to download the app prior to using the thermometer. Once it is connected to a phone, it can be used at any time, including when the app is not open. The thermometer is silicone and the ?tail? is more flexible than any thermometer I have used. The digital face is easy to read and lit up when in use. It does, I'deed take a temp within 8 secs, however, if your chI'd moves their body or tongue while it is reading their temp, it will show an Error code due to inconsistent reading. This was frustrating at first, but I'decided I would rather an accurate reading and appreciate this. Now for the app. I never knew I needed a temp monitoring app in my life, but now I can't imagine living without it! It keeps track of all the data I never remember when asked from a doctor as well as timing for medicine, which is a true mom struggle! The app can be downloaded on multi phones and automatically link by being connected to the same thermometer. You are able to set up profiles for all family members separately and place their age. Something I was also impressed with was if I took a temp (i.e. mI'dle of the night) and didn't open the app, a pop-up would show later asking if I would like to log that temp into the app. The symptom prompts were relatively helpful, though seemed to emphasize COVID symptoms versus typical illnesses. Understandable, but to monitor symptoms beside temps, made it more difficult. Overall, I was extremely impressed with both the Kinsa app as well as the QuickCare Smart Thermometer and will be continuing to utilize it in our household.
