This soft rubbery tip is ideal for complaining toddlers who are already fussy when not feeling well. Slips right under tongue for an accurate read in 1-2 seconds. My toddler used to push our old stick thermometer around in her mouth, complaining that it was poking her, taking several minutes to read, and couldn't always count on it to be accurate under those conditions. Our Kinsa stays comfortably put! We love the app recording features. No more writing temperatures and times down on random scraps of paper. Even has a feature to record medicine doses, symptoms, and automatically records and stores temperature on the app as its paired via Bluetooth. The Kinsa quickcare thermometer has really lived up to its name, saving us time so we can'take care of our little people! Also love the rectal mode for newborns - so I can be sure I'm truly getting an accurate read. Thank you Stellar Product Testing Panel for sending us a Kinsa QuickCare thermometer. This product is definitely our secret weapon in the our sick kit!

The Kinsa QuickCare Smart Thermometer is the absolute best I have ever used. I bought one when my son was born and was very excited to try the newly updated version. It is small but mighty. I love technology and the ability to to connect the thermometer to an app and store multiple family members information is a huge selling point. When my son was born I reached his feedings, his sleep, and even his poopy diapers, so I love being able to look back at his information in the Kinsa app. I also love the tips on next steps to take based on symptoms. The Kinsa QuickCare Smart Thermometer is really a wonderful additions to a mom?s first aid kit! The Kinsa QuickCare Smart Thermometer was received through the Stellar Product Testing Panel!

I was provided this thermometer to review through the Stellar Product Testing Panel, which I was excited about since I have considered this brand?s thermometers multiple times. Honestly, this thermometer was exactly what I was hoping it would be. It reads SO FAST. I've had other ?quick thermometers,? and they?re never as fast as they say, but this one really is. My kI'do hates having his temperature taken but it's over so fast now that he doesn't even mI'd. I found it accurate, and I really like the feature that lets you know whether it is in a normal/medI'm/high range. it'seems silly, but it really takes the guesswork out at 2AM and I appreciate that! I was suspicious that the app would be just for show, but since installing it and seeing how it is laid out the profiles feature is going to be super useful next time all of us are ill (which of course happens because kids are pros at sharing their germs) to be able to keep track of how everyone's temperature has been without trying to remember. I haven't fully explored the app yet but I'm sure I will, as there are features that look super useful like follow-up recommendations and medication remI'ders. I've already recommended the thermometer to my parents'(in their sixties) because of its accuracy and usefulness.

This review of the Kinsa QuickCare Smart thermometer is from the Stellar Product Testing Panel. As a product tester, I was actually concerned about reviewing a thermometer as my family does not often get sick. So what happens? Not 24 hours after the Kinsa thermometer arrives, my oldest chI'd begins to show signs of a fever. And as all families know, the rest of us went through the same sickness within the week. I am going to first review the thermometer specifically and then the app. The first thing about the Kinsa thermometer that is important to note is that you need to download the app prior to using the thermometer. Once it is connected to a phone, it can be used at any time, including when the app is not open. The thermometer is silicone and the ?tail? is more flexible than any thermometer I have used. The digital face is easy to read and lit up when in use. It does, I'deed take a temp within 8 secs, however, if your chI'd moves their body or tongue while it is reading their temp, it will show an Error code due to inconsistent reading. This was frustrating at first, but I'decided I would rather an accurate reading and appreciate this. Now for the app. I never knew I needed a temp monitoring app in my life, but now I can't imagine living without it! It keeps track of all the data I never remember when asked from a doctor as well as timing for medicine, which is a true mom struggle! The app can be downloaded on multi phones and automatically link by being connected to the same thermometer. You are able to set up profiles for all family members separately and place their age. Something I was also impressed with was if I took a temp (i.e. mI'dle of the night) and didn't open the app, a pop-up would show later asking if I would like to log that temp into the app. The symptom prompts were relatively helpful, though seemed to emphasize COVID symptoms versus typical illnesses. Understandable, but to monitor symptoms beside temps, made it more difficult. Overall, I was extremely impressed with both the Kinsa app as well as the QuickCare Smart Thermometer and will be continuing to utilize it in our household.

This is a go-to gift for a baby shower! This thermometer and accompanying app are so helpful. On the app you can add profiles for the whole family, record when you gave medication and how much, and keep track of symptoms. Being able to keep track of everything on the app was my favorite feature and it is so helpful for those sleepless nights with a sick kid! The app is very user friendly and offers tips and next steps based on temperature and accompanying symptoms. I found the thermometer to be easy to use for babies through big kids (you can choose from oral, rectal, or underarm) and accurate. The only downside is sometimes you have to encourage a wiggly kid to hold still and not move their tongue around to get an accurate reading (it will beep and ask you to start over with too much movement). I highly recommend this thermometer and plan on buying it for baby shower gifts. Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this product!

Overall I think the Kinsa thermometer and app are a good concept. I'm glad I had the opportunity to test one out with Stellar Product Testing. it'seems helpful for parents'to be able to digit'lly keep track of their chI'd's temperature history when sick and not have to write it down to remember exact numbers. I love the cute graphics on the app. They are very toddler friendly! My main downside to it is that it is just one more step to take when my son isn?t feeling well. I'm normally worrI'd and want to know his temperature right away, without having to grab my phone and get it connected to the thermometer. I think that is just a change I would need to adjust to.

My toddler lost our old thermometer (surprise!) so I was really excited to try this one out. The first thing I noticed was how easy it was to set up right out of the box. I liked the feel and size of this thermometer too. The app is SUPER easy to use and very straight forward with readings. Plus you can make different profiles for each member of the family which is super helpful for us. READINGS ARE SO FAST! Even my toddler was able to get a reading without yanking his head away haha. I love that you can use this orally, rectally or under the arm. We have a baby coming in July and I feel confident that we won't need to buy a different thermometer - this one does it all. I was given this thermometer to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel.

So far, this thermometer is my favorite to use and that includes the ones for the hospital setting. It is quick, reliable and gives you option in the app to select the route you are going to use to obtain the reading. Overall, I like the app. You can set up a profile for each family member and based on the I'dividual?s age, the app will recommend which route to use (oral, axillary, or rectal). My only complaint is that you do have to put in each person?s birthday in order to create their profile. The app has a linked feature called ?Check Your Local Illinois Risk? and while I cannot attest to the accuracy of the data, I'do think this is a cool idea and a possibly useful tool. I would recommend this product for any family. Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this thermometer.
