“I have been very impressed with how user friendly the Kinsa QuickCare Smart Thermometer is. The app set-up was seamless, paired instantly with my thermometer, and took less than five minutes to complete start to finish - including entering all of my family members into the app. I also love how you can distinguish where the temperature is taken; whether it be oral, rectal or under the armpit. The app is incredibly easy to navigate allowing you to switch between family members with ease. One app feature I'did fI'd unnecessary, however, is the option to link to local health data & see local health statistics. I know some may fI'd this useful, but I'decided to opt out as I feel it would be an added level of anxiety on top of dealing with a sick chI'd. As for actually taking a temperature, the thermometer turns on quickly. If you have the app active at the same time, it gives you a quick countdown to when the temperature reading is ready. Though it gives the reading in under ten seconds, this can feel like a lifetime with a wiggling chI'd. This is where it is handy to be able to choose between an oral, rectal or underarm temperature based on which is most appropriate per your situation. I can't recommend this thermometer more highly and think the pros greatly outweigh any drawbacks I found with this thermometer. “We love this thermometer! I'did a lot of research on thermometers before having my baby and ended up going with a basic no-frills oral thermometer. After a nasty case of roseola I freely admit that WAS A BIG MISTAKE. The Kinsa has all of the features I wish we had during that experience: a very precise and accurate reading, able to take readings super quickly, and an intuitive app that tracks all of the temperatures taken and gives recommendations. Our little girl fever spiked up 4 degrees to 103 over the course of a single morning, and it was really difficult for me to remember and relay all of the temps to the nurse over the phone before bringing her in. The Kinsa app would have made the whole experience a lot less stressful, especI'lly as new parents'with a sick little one. We received the thermometer as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel, but in full honesty will never go back; Kinsa all the way!”
“I'm a busy mom of two young, active chI'dren and I loved this thermometer! I received this thermometer as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. It is so fast to get a temperature reading and very easy to use the app. It reliably recorded our temperatures and I was able to save that info to our profiles that I created within the kinsa app to accurately keep track of everything. The kinsa app was actually helpful and super easy to navigate but you are also able to use this thermometer on its own without the app if you don't pair it through bluetooth to your phone. When a family is all sick at the same time, keeping track of temperatures on this app is so much easier. The feature that my kids liked most about this app was the cute elephant that shows up while taking their temps. The best feature about this thermometer for me was how fast it read their temps - no more squI'ming while waiting around! I'definitely recommend this thermometer for other busy parents'who only want peace of mI'd when your kI'dos are sick.”

It is very informative and makes keeping track of three kids' temperatures a breeze. It keeps a timeline of when the temperature was taken, what it was, and various symptoms that I check off that the chI'd has. “I recently received the Kinsa QuickCare Thermometer from Stellar Product Testing Panel in exchange for my unbiased review. it's an interesting product that links to your smartphone via Bluetooth for symptom tracking for the entire family, as you are able to create profiles for each family member. Though I found the product to make quick and accurate readings (I ran tests on tap water of various temperatures and compared the readings to my instant read cooking thermometer) I was quite concerned with the app?s privacy policy. The Kinsa app, which is required in order to fully utilize the product, collects and sells your browsing history, your health data (such as temperature, medications taken, and symptoms), your demographics (age & gender), as well as your physical location. Though they claim to anonymize this data, I'm not comfortable having this information collected and sold for me and my family. If this product transformed the way I cared for myself and my family I'might be able to overlook these concerns, but at the end of the day I'm just more comfortable using it as a basic thermometer without connecting it to the app (a task it fulfills quite well!)”

My family was in the market for a new thermometer so this couldn't have come at a better time! A little background on me, I am a marrI'd mom to a busy 2.5 year old little girl. I LOVE this product! We have "smart" everything at my house and I never even thought about purchasing a smart thermometer. It makes it'so simple! I'did use the thermometer with the app, however you can use it without it if you wish. In less than 5 minutes you have the app downloaded and set up. The app makes life so simple! It connects to the thermometer and automatically tracks the temperature and the time under the selected profile. The app also has the option to add in medication times and even offers advice on when you should call the doctor and has tips for what to do next. I found the readings to be very accurate and I'definitely trust in it to care for us during our next illness. I used the thermometer on both myself and my daughter in oral and underarm modes and was very impressed at how quick it was. The packaging says that it reads in 8 seconds or less and it was definitely less! Most readings came in 4 seconds or less in my experience. This will make temperatures on my daughter a breeze in the future! I was surprised to fI'd that the thermometer was flexible and soft. It is also coated in a silicone coating which makes oral readings more comfortable. My favorite feature is the fact that the temperature is automatically added and time stamped in the app for you. The only thing that I wish was different was the travel pouch. The thermometer comes with a little storage bag that slides closed. While it works to keep the dust off, the bag feels big and bulky compared to the compact thermometer. I wish it came with a hard plastic case that was as compact as the thermometer itself. Overall it is a great product and I would recommend it to others! This is a game changer for parents'as it is just so simple to use! Love, Love, Love!”
“I was given this thermometer to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. As a mom of 2 young kI'dos (2 year old and newborn), having a thermometer in the event one of them gets sick is essential. I really like that the Kinsa thermometer can be used alone or with the app on your phone. The app is free to download and I like that it tracks measurements as they are taken, making it easy to trend temperature readings and show your doctor quickly. The thermometer gave me a quick and accurate temperature readings. It has a flexible and lightweight design, which allowed me to easily hold the thermometer with my wiggly newborn and made it easy for my toddler to hold the thermometer by himself. Temperature probe covers can be used with the thermometer, but are sold separately. So you may want to pick up a few probe covers if you will be sharing the thermometer between family members.”
