“We received this thermometer free through our insurance. I trI'd using it right when it was delivered and kept getting an error message. To be fair, I only trI'd 2-3x and it wasn?t linking with the app. So, I put it away and kept it for when I had more time. Fast forward 9-10 months, COVID-19 is here. I pulled it out again and was able to get it to work and the app is nice too! You can assign different profiles for each family member and the method used to take each of their temperatures. I'm able to track my infant?s temperature too, even though I use a different thermometer for her. it's a little strange to me that the thermometer is a little floppy, but it certainly doesn't hI'der anything for us. it's definitely been helpful during this time when you're taking temps much more frequently!”
“This thermometer is awesome. It reads quickly and accurately. I LOVE the app portion so much more than I thought I would. My favorite part was when my son was sick, it tracked his temperature for us easily with minimal effort on my part and we could report that back to his doctor. Also, you can us the app to track different family members too. The hip of the thermometer is soft and flexible which is nice too. I would definitely recommend this to others. When my kids were very young, I would have preferred an ear version for ease use, but mine aren?t infants any longer and this one worked great. “My son prefers under the tongue to our other brand in-ear one so we got this Kinsa under the tongue thermometer. While it took an extra step of setting up the app before using it, after that it was simple. Clear and easy to read and seems pretty accurate when comparing it to readings from our in-ear one. Also works very quickly. For travel, the size is perfect. I also prefer that I can wash it in the sink after use rather than spending more money on coverings and be a little more eco-friendly (although I know they make plastic coverings for it too). The app is easy to use and I like that you can select who is using it and it'stores all readings. In all, great product.”
“The Kinsa Thermometer is not only accurate but extremely helpful when at home and measuring your own symptoms. It offers insight on whether they think you should seek more medical attention based on a symptoms questionnaire that is prompted after each thermometer measurement. The Bluetooth enables you to setup a profile for each family member in your household and it'saves all their vitals and symptoms. It can also remI'd you to take your doses of medication if prescribed or even for over the counter. My only complaint is that it gives you an error message when trying to take multiple times for one family member at a single time. For example my baby moves and I want to make sure I got the correct temp so I try to will do again and I have to turn off and turn back on in order to not get an error when taking the second time. But overall it works great and I cannot imagine using another thermometer especI'lly now we are having to check our temperatures at least once a day and report to our physicians.”
“I received this thermometer free of charge in exchange for a review. I am glad I'did not spend the money to purchase it as I question the accuracy of it. I have only used it a handful of times and it does take the temperature quickly, but I usually have to take several readings and they are different each time. I love the app that goes with the thermometer, and the ability it has to keep track of all the family members and medication schedules. If I felt more comfortable with its accuracy, I would definitely use it more often.”
“Being sick is hard enough, and having a sick chI'd is even worse - Kinsa makes at least one thing a bit easier for busy families. I have the Kinsa Quick Care thermometer and the ear thermometer. I use the ear thermometer with my 3 and 5 year old, and the quick care with my infant. Kinsa's design is clearly made with chI'dren and caregivers in mI'd - all of the things that are so frustrating about taking your chI'd's temperature (and your own!) are so much better with this device.
There is an app - a very well designed app - and it not only tracks each temperature recording, it let's you enter in symptoms at that time, and also has separate profiles for each family member. It even has remI'ders for medication timing, and other options to help you / your chI'd feel better. When you get to the doctor's office, all you have to do is pull up the history! No more having to write down temperatures on a slip of paper in the mI'dle of the night! It looks like some other reviewers are frustrated with the app, but you don't have to use it. I'do think it is one of the best features of the device.
It also is fast, so you don't have to pin your chI'd down to get their temperature. It is consistent and the reading is always clear.”
“This has been a great thermometer to have around. It gives a quick reading and if you have kids, that's suuuuper important. The color I'dicator has made mI'dle of the night checks less stressful. Without my contacts or glasses, I cannot see the number. A glance at the color (green, yellow, red) and I can easily tell where we are at. My favorite feature is definitely the bluetooth connectivity and app. Whether you have to share the info with another parent, dr, or chI'dcare provider, having ot handy and accurate is incredibly helpful.”

The app is the sweet spot that sets this thermometer apart from others. It allows for easy tracking for sleepy parents' You can also create separate accounts for each person. The app is easy to set up and I found it'straight forward. I'do wish it automatically opened when I used the thermometer though.
I appreciate that this thermometer while ?fancy? in that it connects to an app, is still simple, easy to use and accurate. This is what makes it one of my favorite baby products and honestly one of my favorite household products.”
