“My family loves the Kinsa Quick Care Thermometer! When I was nearing the end of my pregnancy with my son, I knew a thermometer was something that would be good to have. I also knew that there were a lot of unreliable thermometers out there and was having trouble fI'ding one that had consistently good reviews, until I came across the Kinsa thermometer. We have been using this thermometer for a while now and it'still seems to be as accurate as it was when we first got it, it is so easy to use, I LOVE the Kinsa app, and it comes back with an accurate ready quickly. Once you download the app, you just have to do a one time set up with the thermometer on your phone, then from then on, you just open the app, and it is ready to use! The app is great because it has bubbles that float up the screen that your chI'd can ?pop? as it reads the chI'd's temperature, and it has kept my son distracted and entertained every time so that we only have to take his temperature one time and aren?t wrestling him to stay still. Sometimes he actually asks to get his temperature taken just to pop the bubbles and hear the characters talk in the app.! I also love that the app lets your chI'd pick a fun character for their profile and it'stores all temperature data for your chI'd'so you don't have to remember! This is truly the best thermometer I have seen on the market.”

“I really like kinsa brand thermometers. I've found it's rather difficult to track temperatures of two sick kids with a traditional thermometer & another one I have gives inaccurate readings. Kinsa is pretty consistent and gives accurate readings, which is very important. This, and the ability for it to log readings for both of my kids is super helpful with sharing with their pediatricians so I'm not guessing on what their temps were & when I took them. I have one of Kinsa?s original thermometers that I received at a baby show. I love that it connects to my phone & makes it'super easy to track temperatures. I want to upgrade to one of their newer models, when I can fI'd one in stock. I'definitely would recommend snatching one up if you can fI'd it!”
“I initI'lly received this thermometer with the phone jack when it first came out, but when I upgraded my phone, I no longer had a phone jack. I loved my old Kinsa so much that I upgraded to the Bluetooth version when my youngest was born.
I love the connectivity and the advice that comes with the app whenever I take my kids' temperature. It is really good at easing my concerns especI'lly because it asks for all of their symptoms in addition to the temperature. I'did fI'd my old one ran cold, but this one seems to be "true."
The only con is that sometimes I fI'd the technology to be a little bit finicky, and it won't turn on or sync with my phone. I have found their FAQ support page to be helpful, but when we're in the mI'dle of temping a fussy kid, it's frustrating.”
“The app was great, connected to my phone and gave helpful tips, suggestions for what to do for a temp for a baby at a specific age, etc. However, I had trouble with the reliability of the thermometer. I was getting inconsistent readings and ended up switching to a cheaper non-fancy thermometer to not have to worry.
However, I bought my thermometer in 2017... the newer ones I've heard great things about! I'd give it a try again, because the ease of having it all in one app would be awesome. EspecI'lly for tracking temps over time, medications, etc. Also having the cute characters for my toddler on the screen to keep him focused and not freaking out about the thermometer!”
“We were in the market for a new thermometer for our 2.5 yo and a soon to be newborn. Our old one gave inconsistent readings consistently. I purchased the kinsa quick read after looking at all of the thermometers in the aisle. The kinsa quick first caught my eye because of the sleek design I ultimately decided to purchase because it was a great price and I liked that it could be used so many different ways (oral, underarm, rectal). After using it we have found that it is consistent, easy to read, and can be used with or without the app which is nice. The app is an added bonus, everyone can be setup with an I'dividual profile which stores what the temperature was and when it was taken were along with symptoms. We love this thermometer so much I now include it in baby gifts. Would recommend and will buy again.”
“I was gifted this product at my baby shower by a friend who is a nurse. My son is 15 months old now and I cannot even begin to count the number of times it has come in handy! This thermometer is quick and so easy to use and super accurate. The teachers at my son?s school even use it to check him if they think he is feeling off because they trust it more than the one in the nurse?s office. I use it with the app which allows you to select other symptoms for possible diagnoses. The app also has a bubble popping game while the thermometer is taking the reading, which keeps my son entertained and distracted from having a thermometer touching him. I plan to gift this to every new mom I know!”
“I am extremely disappointed with this thermometer. We used it when my daughter was 2.5mo and it'showed several times she had a temperature high enough for her to need to go to the hospital because she was so young. We went and she had to get a spinal tap, as well as all kI'ds of other tests, even though her temperature was normal at the hospital. We got home and the thermometer still showed her fever was too high. Kinsa sent us a new thermometer free of charge, and it'still showed her temperature too high. Although it is fancy and has neat features, do NOT purchase this thermometer. Get one that is trustworthy.”
