“I was a little disappointed with this litter. The odor does not dissipate as well as the other and it certainly would not last a month. I’ll be going back to the other one .”
“Tried the diatomite litter one month instead of the fine grain crystals my cats and I like so much, hoping for less dust. Within a few days, we discovered that the diatomite is not good at keeping down odors. Contacted customer service to return it!!! Diatomite stinks!”
“Switched from the silica litter to this, just to try it. Smelled just like the old litter box again, before I tried the silica. Yuck!! Going to switch back ASAP.”
“I tried this for one shipment, I usually use the silica. This is less dusty when you first pour it in, but within a day you could smell the urine. By 5 days it was overwhelming, even with daily cleaning of solids and stirring. Went back to silica style and am very happy.”
