“I switched away from Pretty Litter due to an issue I had with shipping/company (not the litter itself) when trying this kind. The cats don't like it quite as much, they use a different litter box with other litter in it first and then go to this stuff as a backup. It tracks EVERYWHERE in the house, I have three mats down all around the litter boxes but it just gets in their paws, between their toes, sometimes a couple pieces stuck on their wet nose as they poke around to verify sufficient burying, etc. Thats my only unhappiness with the product really. It's equally dusty to Pretty Litter, but it appears to last a lot longer and I like how well it works - when the cats choose to use it. I expect I will try a different kind from this club when I run out of litter. Overall it's good, but there's a little more dust and a lot more tracking than expected.”
“I have one 14yr old cat and this litter barely lasted 2wks. It absorbs smells for maybe 10days but also stains when she pees. And it tracks everywhere! The only reason I’m giving it 2 stars is it worked with my automatic litter box. Do yourself a favor and get the fine-grain silica litter. It trapped smells for nearly 4wks, didn’t hold on to pee stains, and didn’t visibly track all over my carpets.”
“My cats instantly took to this litter. I just dumped it into a new litter box next to their old one and they started using it immediately. After one month, it is still holding up. There isn't much smell and the solids dry quickly. I think it works better when there is a thick layer of litter in the box, so don't be surprised if this bag fills your litter box with 4-5 inches. That is important for this litter.”
“This litter has to be the worst litter I've ever tried...and I've tried a lot! I ended up dumping it after the first week. I could tell every time one of my 2 cats used this litter because there were paw prints all over the house and there was litter all over the floor. I'm surprised it is advertised as low tracking because it definitely was not. I even had a mat and it was covered in the litter. It also does not keep the odor down. The first couple of days it was ok but after that, the room reeked of urine smell. It's a shame because I love the plastic lined litter boxes that can be thrown away. Off to try another litter.”
