“I switched back to clay because my cats didn’t like the silica. After two months, I’ll be switching again. The clay becomes gooey and sticks to the box. Even with daily box cleaning this occurs and smells are not masked. My cats prefer the clay but the smell and ease of scooping is a problem.”
