“The plastic support sleeves that go over top of litter box are for the standard size box. They were not made larger to support the XL size so they are not long enough.
And the fine grain litter is very dusty giving off a lot of silica dust ever time my cat gets in. Iβm disappointed. I switched to standard size box and switched from fine grain to regular silica litter so we will see if that is better on my next delivery. As it is now, Iβm not happy with XL box and not happy with fine grain silica litter.”
Hi Jennifer,
Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with our XL Disposable Litter Box. We're sorry to hear that the plastic support sleeves didn't fit as expected and that the Fine-Grain Silica litter created more dust than you'd hoped. Your feedback is invaluable and helps us identify areas for improvement. We hope the switch to the Standard size box and regular Silica litter works better for both you and your cat. If you have any other thoughts or need assistance, weβre here to help!π
“I have had times when the bottom of the box has had the plastic separate from the cardboard, making it dicey when I throw away the box to replace with the new one. If the bottom gives out, even in a small tear, the silica litter will fall out of the box and make a mess. My other problem may not effect anyone else, but as long as I'm responding to the question, but for me, I have significant arthritis in my hands, and it has become difficult to be able to assemble the boxes. Putting the plastic stays on the box are almost impossible to do. I have to wear gloves, and use a cloth to help push the strip on to the cardboard. Obviously they need to be on there to stabilize the sides, but I really struggle with that part of it. Maybe some creative minds in your company can come up with something to help those of us who struggle so much with that issue. I DO like the product, and have referred several cat owners to the Kitty Poo Club boxes. It is a great system....not needing to scrape a box and wash it every time it's new is not a problem likely do not need help with....but I would sure love to see a design change that will make owning my cats the best thing ever. I have two cats....one is thin and wiry, and 14 years old....who always wants her litter box to be ultra clean. As soon as I put the new box and litter in place, she is using it immediately. My other cat is 10 y/o, has longer hair than her "sister", and there is nothing thin and wiry about her! I don't know how much she weighs, but I'm sure she's overweight. Cagney has always been thin. But the box is big enough to make Poppy happy, and Cagney is happy with the size so she can make sure she has her room to make it always clean.”
Thank you for your insightful review, Lucy! We're glad to hear that you appreciate the convenience of our litter box system, especially for your lovely cats! We truly value your feedback about the assembly process, and we'll be sure to pass along your suggestions for improvement. We want to make things as easy as possible for all our cat owners. Wishing you and your furry friends all the best!πΊ
