“I have 1 cat, less than a year old, and i really wanted to love this product. The idea is great! I tried this litter and the larger sized litter of the same material (silica), but had the same issue. It just does NOT control odor. I even tried the option of changing a week early. I do clean it daily and mix it as instructed, but still have odor issue with both urine and feces. I tried it for 4 months to give it the "good college try," but it didn't get better. I feed my cat strictly dry cat food. I also find pieces all over the house, even though I use 2 large mats and it is like stepping on little stones. The tracking around the house/pieces caught in paws was the same for both the small and larger silica. I did give it 2 stars though because it is a fabulous idea and it was easy to set up and dispose.”
“I love kitty poo and have been a long time member. I used the original beads before and I asked about a scoop that would leave less litter but yall did not have one, so i switch to the fine grain. Well now we do walk on beads but sand. Everything tracks so bad. I have tried leaving the panel but my cat is 17 lbs and 7 yrs old. We are starting to deal with joint issues. All in all the convenience of the subscription is great. Just I could find something that worked as good as yalls but didnt track so bad.”
“I was blown away by the ease of Kitty Poo Club and how well the silica litter eliminated odors. There were only two downsides to the pearl-like beads. It is difficult to remove solids with the provided scooper as the beads are too large to fall through the sieve. And it is a wild goose chase to try to sweep the particles that escape the box as they roll so easily across the floor. We decided to try the fine grain to compare and were satisfied with the improvement. BUT the fine grain is not as effective against the odor...”
“Maybe it’s because my cat is elderly, but it did not last the full month. The urine actually started to puddle at the bottom of the box. The smell was terrible. It was our first time trying it and we had to go out and buy regular cat liter again just to supplement until the next box was delivered. The first two weeks were great but after that it started going down hill quickly. I did increase my delivery to every 2 weeks to see how much that helps.”
“I have two very large cats, so they were unable to use standard litter boxes because of their height. I was actually using modified plastic storage totes before KPC and cleaning those giant things was impossible. With the dome accessory, even my giant cats fit in these boxes - and everything stays in the box!”
“Our cat has some special needs and the traditional enclosed liter box just wasn’t working for her. I love that the front lip is low so she can get in and out easier. The high sides and dome are awesome to keep the litter inside and not all over your house! The liter is awesome! I always thought I’d hate a non clumping liter but this stuff sucks up the liquid and has no smells. I fell like I don’t find this liter everywhere in my house like previous litters which I’m soooooo happy about!”
