“My cat is prone to UTIs but has never shown symptoms - they always just pop up during routine urine testing. I typically get the fine grain silica, which I love, but was curious about this. On the first bag, this litter accurately turned blue indicating he had a UTI. I was able to get him into the vet and treated right away. The odor control and scooping worked just as well as the fine grain silica litter so I will be switching my subscription to health monitoring litter!”

“It works well but you have to check immediately after your cats use the litterbox. It only seems to be available in extra fine grain which I do not care for. It doesn't mask the scent or absorb the urine as well as the larger silica. I rather use the larger silica and have that scattered everywhere than to step on the sand-like grains. But I will use it every couple of months to keep my kitties health in check.”
“Con: Brat will go number 2, but not number 1 in this litter. Will give it another try on my next shipment. Will probably mix in some regular litter and hope that will do the trick. Pro: Is a lot lighter than the litter I was using. Love that!”
