“I have tried every (seems like it) litter box & litter (even every combo of litters) trying to find what works best for our cat & me (since I am the one cleaning/maintaining). These standard boxes with the standard dome are the perfect size (not too big or small) for my 13 lb rescue orange tabby. He’s old & messy. The dome helps litter from flying. The box has a shiny interior that is water proof/resistant, which works well at keeping liquids in. I tried the “green” litter boxes & they get soggy & fall apart. I tried all of Kitty Poo’s litters. I could not commit. The small gain silicone seemed to work the best of all, but it did not last one month. It’s super dusty and starts to smell after about 2 weeks. For us, the Pretty Litter stays fresher longer and isn’t nearly as dusty. So, I buy 2 boxes & 2 domes every 2 mos from Kitty Poo. I love that I get free shipping even though I’m not buying the whole shebang! It’s perfect for what we need. But, truly, these boxes are the bomb! They make my life so much better (LONG gone are the days of scrubbing a plastic litter box - GROSS!!!). We have a guest bathroom that has a shower (no one uses), so I taped up the drain, put down a litter mat, the litter box & a litter genie. It’s all hidden behind the shower curtain & liner. Dewey can sneak in & out by the curtain & for the most part, it keeps his mess contained!”
“I wasn't sure if this cardboard litter box would hold 2 cats pottys until the next one came. So I held onto my old one. I was pleasantly surprised that it stayed together and was very good. I like this idea of a fresh box. Very happy I took the plunge. 2 paws up”
