“I am not happy with the thickness of the silica. Previously I could get it in a fine. it is just too big of pieces. otherwise odor control and absorbency is great.”
“We have a very large cat. I love the box with the coating and it is nice not to have to deal with cleaning the cat box. The silica crystals work great for reducing the urine smell. I did order the dome as my cat is a diligent in burying and would fling the litter out of the box, but it turns out that my cat is to long to fit in the box with the dome on so we removed it. The box is tall enough however and the silica is easier for him to bury with as opposed to the clumping litters that would frustrate him, so the dome really wasn't necessary for him. We also do not remove the removable front flap. Because he is a large cat, we have discovered that the amount of litter that comes with the box is not enough to last 4 weeks. It becomes too saturated by about the 3rd week.”
“My two cats are having a slow time at adapting to the new litter. I continue to add their previous clumping litter to convince them. It's been 2 months now. You definitely know when the cats are using the box - much louder as they dig. I appreciate the convenience of being able to trash the box.”
“Good sturdy box. Good size to handle and move if needed. Cats got used to it pretty quickly and my sister will be subscribing as well. Both cats abandoned the huge plastic pan she kept and changed to the silica litter and new box.”
