“The pieces of silica are huge. They get tracked out on the cats feet and make a huge mess thing they are too big to get caught in the mat. I ordered the smaller silica for the second month. “We started using the regular silica, it works great but for our cat, it gets stuck in his paws, when he leaps out of his box it goes everywhere. We switched to fine grain silica and it’s the one! The pee doesn’t smell and doesn’t clump. The poop smells when he’s in the process of doing his business but it doesn’t stay smelly and it’s so easy to clean. I’m so thankful I got this to try. Don’t think we’ll ever go back. Most important, my cat likes it and it’s not bad for him!”
