“New customer here - our boy took to it immediately after mixing in a teeny bit of his old litter, zero litter box smell noted to date with the next due to ship in just a few days (with less than fastidious cleaning at that!) "Dome" seems unneeded for our big guy, so just left that aside - but he does seem to kick a bit much to allow the cutout , and he's big enough to jump over the sides, so I think we'll not punch out the "door" in the future to contain things better to reduce mat cleaning.”
“I didn't think the litter would really last a month, but with one cat it lasts just fine with almost daily scoopings. I got some extra litter just to supplement. The silica litter also has kept smells down - with the previous drugstore litter, the whole garage would reek and the smell would come in through the laundry room. But with this litter, that problem has disappeared. Also, the cardboard box is great. Pee residue and some clumped litter sticks to the very bottom, so I haven't recycled the inner box, but I have recycled the base. And it's nice to have a fresh start each month. Definitely worth the money for me to keep smells down and reduce the grossness factor of having to clean a plastic litterbox.”
“I like it. It stays clean and smells fine. I don’t like how it flies out of the box and scratches the floor. I wish the litter was smoother. I like how it doesn’t clump when wet. I purchased the mat to try to solve the problem of the litter flying around. We’ll see how that works.”
“Love the silica product!! It doesn’t stink and is easy to maintain. The only negative is the clear beads on my floor outside the cat box. We have the catch mat, but it doesn’t catch all of the beads. The vacuum doesn’t get the beads because they just roll around. I use the handheld portion or sweep first.”
“I was a bit skeptical about this process as I was used to purchasing my pets kitty litter, liners and pan from a retail store, however after figuring out the cost of all of those plus my time and fuel to go get it, it immediately became a savings!
