“We tried the much advertised Pretty Litter but with only one cat it was only lasting 2 weeks -- way too expensive for only 2 weeks. Switched to the Kitty Poo Club and much more satisfied. Going on 3 weeks now and still no smell. Silicone gels are great and my cat loves them. Thanks Poo Club. ---Julia”
“The ease of it is probably the best part. My kitty has a problem with poo in her litter and attempts to remove it herself at times, so the fact that the moisture is wicked from the poo pretty quickly is great. I will say that for my tiny kitty (6.5 lbs) 4 weeks is too long in between changes, I have changed to 3 weeks.”
“Being a new user, I tried this (silica) and the fine grain at the same time to compare them and see if my cats had a preference. Even though I and my cats both prefer the fine grain, the silica works great. It controls the smell beautifully and the whole "litter box experience" is so much better than using regular litter and everything that goes with it. My cats took to both types immediately but after a week or so I noticed that they were using the fine grain but not the silica, I think because of the consistency (big chunks vs sand like). The silica tends to track out more than the fine grain, but not anywhere near how regular litter tracks out- i think it gets caught in between their pads cuz of the bigger pieces and comes out when they start walking away. With the silica, you also lose more litter when scooping cuz it sticks to the poop and since its bigger, you lose more litter volume than the fine grain. Overall I really liked it and if the fine grain was not available I would stay with the silica over going back to regular litters. Wonderful product.”
