“This litter is not good for us. It was tracked all over the house. It was impossible to clean up the urine in the box, because unlike the clay litter, it does not clump and just stays in the box until I change out the litter completely.”
“Our cat was found by us as a young stray. She’s skiddish. She used Kitty Poo for awhile, we tried the cover and it freaked her out. Wouldn’t return to the box. We had to go back to the old fashion box for awhile. Tried this again and we’re happy to report she’s doing well. We’re happy campers!”
“This a very noisy product! I was surprised at how noisy the litterbox use was. Also due to the large size of the pellets, she threw it all over, so it was very hard to contain. Another thing I would have loved is to have an option of an "end entrance" on the short side - we put the box inside a litter "chest" and it has to go long ways. We will be cancelling the subscription because supermarket litter works better for us.”
“Box was wasy to put together. Unfortunately my cat would not do her business in it. She resorted to peeing on the bottom of the coffee table. She did go in it and walked around because I had silica all over the bathroom that hurt to step on.”
“I have 3 cats that get along very well. I got 3 boxes as suggested even though they were only using 2 before. They adjusted pretty quickly to the new boxes and litter type as opposed to Arm and Hammer clumping litter. The only reason i didn’t give it full stars is bc i want to try out the fine grain silica. this one is harder to clean with the scoop bc the pieces are so big.”
“Okay, all you furry loving feline owners out there... I have 4 pusses in the household. It was becoming increasing difficult for me to lug scoop-able litter to my 4 cat boxes strategically placed around my home. One in the basement, 2 on the main floor and 1 upstairs (Not to mention washing those boxes!). I have a health condition so I searched for a solution. I found Kitty Poo Club. I watched the videos and read multiple reviews of folk either loving the product, or complaining about it. I looked at the cost and weighed it against my normal outlay and found it came in less costly AND it was delivered to my door. So I ordered 4 for my first go around. I was surprised at the light weight of each box. This was something I could do myself in the set-up and maintenance without asking for help. I admit I had to think twice how to configure the box, but once I got it down, no problem. I purchase 4 of the high walls you can attach to your boxes (And just keep re-using with each successive box) and this was grand. It was open in the middle so my bengal's head could stand out (He's a big boy), and one of my girls is a kicker, so it kept the silica sand mostly in the box. I strongly suggest having one of those mats that capture kitty litter as they exit. This stuff can, and will, travel outside the box. But, before you stop reading and say oh no, understand the benefits out-weigh this small issue. I have NO smell. However, to counter those who have complained of odor, you need to define it. When I walk into my home, I do not smell a cat box. You know, that icky, lingering, get in your nostrils stank that hangs on the walls. Gone with Kitty Poo. BUT when you do your scooping of your cats, uh, out-put, and you stir the Kitty Poo Box, YES YOU CAN SMELL IT because your face is so close to perform the task. Now my 4 darlings have their 4 boxes in different parts of the house, but son-of-a-gun if they don't congregate at the two on the main level. So these boxes get heavy action. Still, no smell... but pushing 3 weeks, it begins to take on a life form. Kitty Poo suggests once a month to change out boxes. I do mine every 3 weeks. Ironically, the lesser used boxes have lasted as much as 6 weeks before becoming a science project. I guess it depends on your cats and their drive to contribute. I like the optional scooper you can purchase. It is especially designed to get the poo, which is amazing smaller and flatter than what I recall using regular litter, and the teeth on the scooper work great for doing your 'stir.' My only complaint was delivery. My last 2 deliveries have been almost timely, but in the beginning I would be notified the product shipped, and then a week and a half would pass. One would show, but my second box was still in transit. It hasn't been a fun season for any delivery business with USPS, so I'll give it a pass. Chewy.com delivers within 2 days, so I was spoiled. Give Kitty Poo Club a try. Worst thing is that you might say 'ew' and move on to something else. Yes, your cats will have to adjust, but if it's the only option in the household, they figure it out pretty quickly.”
