“This stuff absolutely prevents litter box odor and my cats got used to it easily. The only thing I don’t love about it is that it does get scattered a bit when my cats get out of the box. That happens with all litter though and after I put down a mat that traps the litter, it has reduced dramatically. I am a convert! “I started with the large silica and my old mats and switched to the fine silica and bought your black large mat. Problem solved. The litter area is now neat and tidy with no odor. My three kitties love the fine litter and it seems to stay in the box or in the tiny spaces on the mat. No more lifting heavy litter or dragging plastic boxes outside to clean. As a 70 year old this is a real plus. I do put a huge clear plastic bag under the box so when it is time to remove it I just pull up the bag, pull the strings and carry it out to the garbage bin. Couldn't be easier.”
