“My cat took to this box easily. I love that we get to just throw it away when the new one arrives. So simple and now I don't have to scrub out the litter box.”
“The box works super well, and I love getting a new one every month. The smell factor works probably 3 weeks out of the month - the last week, there's definitely the typical litter box odor. Took my older cat a solid 3 months to transition from the usual clay to the silica, but it can be done!”
“Regular clay litter wasn’t doing it for me anymore. My cat was tracking it into every corner of my house, the dust is foul, and the giant stinky pee clumps gross me out. We ordered kitty poo club silica as a test drive and are very happy! I kept the clay box for the first month so our kitty had backup, but he took to the new silica litter right away. First month success! Second month we did away with the old clay litter box and had only the one kitty poo silica box. I prefer the silica and the ease of tossing the whole dirty box at the end of the month (still less waste in my opinion based on the amount of clumped pee I scooped/dumped). I only gave 4 stars because a month with the one silica box is pushing it - we only have one, small cat. I think 3 weeks max for the box; I stir at least twice daily and scoop the solids on demand. The box became stinky and sludge-y for the final week. Also, the silica balls still seem to appear outside the box: I think that’s more due to the cat being a kooky cat and “playing”, but these little balls get some momentum and distance! Overall, i like the product and service and will continue to use. I’ve already got two friends hooked!”
“I wasn't sure how this would work out, but I've been really pleased. I have a large, senior cat who used to get his own bathroom so I could contain the litter in the bath tub and it was easy to clean when he peed over the side of the box. I ordered the hood with my first poo club order and he hasn't peed outside the box yet! The box hasn't leaked even though I'm bad about stirring it daily as instructed. The good news is that even though I don't stir daily, I still never smell it! It's easy to scoop, has less dust than clay litter, and when the new box comes I just toss the old one. Super easy. The silica does track, not as bad as clay litter, but it's a pain on bare feet! My vacuum doesn't like to suck it up so I have to sweep it, but thats no big deal in the grand scheme of things. If you have a pup who likes to sneak snacks from the litter box, the silica will likely upset their tummy so try to find a way to keep them out! I wouldn't keep it in your bedroom if you have a cat that likes to dig/ensure their poo is covered as it's a little loud. Overall, the kitty poo club is a win!”
“This litter causes not dust and completely eliminates the urine smell. My only complaint is my cat refuses to cover his poop and I think it's because there aren't enough crystals in there. It needs to be a tiny bit deeper. I think that because when I add a little bit of regular litter he goes back to covering it. But with the regular litter in there the urine smell comes back.”
“Best litter solution we’ve tried. Every once in a while, we find silica pieces around the house, so we are trying the fine litter. Still, hands down, the best!!”
