Thanks for sharing your experience. The coating has actually improved and gotten thicker over the years, compared to when we first started out. Sorry to hear using the packing tape on the seams didn't seem to help. Did you also stop using the rails with the Dome, as we suggested? We recommend NOT using the rails with the Dome, because it allows for gaps in which urine can be sprayed and cause an issue.
