“I definitely like the silica better than dusty old regular litter. The urine smell is contained for several days. My only recommendation would be to have a design for cut out to be on the short end, more like a regular litter box. Ours fits perfect into one of the hide-away cabinets but we have to modify the design ourselves and cut down one end.”
“I love the silica litter and the litter box. When I had 4 Ragdolls, I had to lug about 40 lbs of litter from the store to the car, carry it from the car to the house, and again to the room where I had the litter boxes. The clumping litter was like cement when cleaning the boxes. It was so much easier and faster with KittyPoo. And now that I am down to one Ragdoll, it’s a breeze with KittyPoo. “Right now I am on the fence about the Silica. I love the box design. The architecture and the materials are efficient and functional. The Silca litter is a bit weird though; it might just take some getting used to for both human and kitty. I followed instructions, removing the poo, stirring the litter, etc. And it has held up well but has a slightly odd smell. Mind you, the odd smell is definitely better than actual kitty pee smell, so Im grateful for that. If, after a good trial period, it still is kind of ick I hope to try one of the other litters. As a company, Im definitely satisfied with Kitty Poo Club. The products seem reasonably priced and of good quality.”
