Standard Disposable Litter Box Soy Litter Reviews

The box seems a waste, even if it says it is recyclable. And, there is never enough litter to last long. It would be cheaper to buy my own litter.

This was a miss unfortunately. I purchased more out of curiosity and to try something different for my cat. It was difficult to scoop the urine as it balled up like glue and stuck to the scooper. A lot of the product was coming out with it to the point that there was no way it would last a month. On the flip side of this review is my only issue on Kitty Poo Club selling this product. Spoke to Beth and she gave me a great tip that has me sold back on the fine grain silica litter. We worked out my issue and she gets 5 stars for customer service! So much so that I am now switching to auto delivery. So would not recommend this particular litter, however I have been happy with all other products I have ordered through this company!!

I have had cats all my life. The absolute worst part of having indoor cats is the litter box. No matter what I tried, and I've tried many in 6 decades, there was always a flaw; didn't clump, didn't mask odor, cats didn't like it, tracked everywhere, dust everywhere, fragrance too strong -- you name it. I got sick of finding tracked litter everywhere (and I mean everywhere) and, quite frankly, lugging heavy bags or bins of litter was harder to do. A friend mentioned Kitty Poo -- I was skeptical but desperate. I chose the soy pellets because I felt the silica might track more. Boy was I surprised! The soy pellets have a pleasant smell; not strong or chemically, it clumps well and the cats seem to like it. It doesn't mask the poop odor well but that's on my cats -- they don't seem to like to cover theirs no matter what litter I used. I scoop as soon as I know they've used the box, or once a day at the very least and the box lasts a full 30+ days. I will never go back to traditional litter again. I get a new box and a new supply of litter every month and all I have to do is toss out the old one. The price is about the same as if I had to go to the store, buy a heavy bag or bin, and lug it home and up/down stairs. No dust. No muss. No fuss. I highly recommend this product!

Tux the judger transitioned well to the new box and litter. He's a big boy and doesn't seem to be cramped doing his business. I have noticed that the litter is getting dangerously low, with the 4week renewal, which is resulting in Tux spending more time trying to cover up his stuff. For my second order I've added a second bag of litter so I can top it off when it's getting low.

I have a 10 year old cat who is getting a little stinky. She was also leaning over her last litter box and sometimes she was missing the box. We haven’t had that issue at all with this because the walls are tall. With her old litter, there was a strong (bad) smell, which I think was the interaction of urine and the litter. We don’t get this smell at all with this litter. We use the organic soy and it doesn’t get tracked all over because it’s bigger pieces and doesn’t get stuck in her paws. My cat likes a little more volume in her box so I did buy a 2nd bag and split it between two months. Very happy with this product!!!

I usually use the fine grain silica but wanted to try the soy. It worked just as well for covering odor.
