“I have only had it 3 weeks now so my opinion could change. But, it is doing exactly what I need it to do. I have an older cat who doesn’t “squat” when she goes so even in the largest regular litter boxes, she ends up going over the sides. I was mopping every day. Regular clumping litter also stuck to her paws horribly. She’s a Maine Coon so that’s a lot of fur! The soy pellets are perfect for her paws. She also won’t go in a completely covered litter box so the dome on the kittypoo bix is perfect. The only downside is that it doesn’t last as long as it claims and 1 bag of litter (soy pellets) is not enough. At about 2 weeks I noticed the cardboard was starting to disintegrate in the area she usually pees. I have put a plastic garbage bag under the litter. I also had to order a second bag at 2 weeks so it will get pricey if I have to change it all out every 2 weeks. I am willing to keep going with kittypoo for now because it’s the only thing that has worked. Suggestions would be a better plastic reinforced box and larger bags of litter.”
“The cat seems to like the soy litter. It does clump a little bit, which is good. The box has held up great, and I’ll order again. If the kitty is happy pooping there, I’m happy, too.”
“I love the box. Its easy to put together and break down again when the new one arrives. It beats having to pay for liners, having to double bag those because the cat scratches holes in it, and having to wash down the box every month. However, I dont recommend the soy pellets. They dont absorb odor at all whatsoever. Even when my cats cover their business, my apartment reeks IMMEDIATELY. At first, I was really happy that there was no tracking of those pellets. However, after 3 weeks my cats managed to start tracking it everywhere. Definitely recommend utilizing a little that isnt the soy pellets but highly recommend the box and service otherwise!”
“I have always owned a kitty or two and love cats but hate the smell and upkeep of their boxes. I think Kitty Poo has a much cleaner way of handling this problem and it doesn’t smell anymore.”
“My cat did not take to the soy litter immediately. It is very different from the pine litter I have always used. I followed the instructions and he has adapted to it. I really like the size and shape of the box. I also like the add-on higher sides.”
“My cat easily used the soy, just as his old litter. The only downside is that hes taken up eating the soy? No idea why seeing as hes a Very picky eater and will only eat Purina Cat chow. The soy also tracks out of the box very easily, but not such a big deal as thats apart of my daily clean up of his messes.”
