“The concept is amazing! The actual box is awesome. My cat likes to pee on the side, and the coating on the cardboard does it’s job. The bad thing is there is only enough litter to last my normal, full grown cat about 2 weeks. They say some cats need 2 bags of litter. I think the only cat that could get away with the amount of they send is a tiny kitten. This is probably on purpose so that you’ll spend an extra $20 on another bag of litter, which sucks. I ended up getting a big thing of litter from Target and just add that to the other stuff as needed. I would love to get a 2nd bag of the soy stuff from the company (I really like it!) but there is no way I’m paying another 20 bucks on top of the subscription cost.”
“Tried a couple different litter types, as we waited for the pearl silica to come back into stock. Thought we'd give the organic soy pellets a go. We were disappointed. First of all, it's a non-clumping formula. The solids don't present a problem, but the liquid forms this muddy consistency, ultimate drying into jagged chunks in the litter box. For us, the soy option did not control the odor as well as the silicas. And, the color (light beige) of the soy pellets is obvious, especially on our carpets and hardwood floors. Our cat seemed to track it more than either of the silica options. We are thrilled that the pearl silica is back and we promptly ordered our trusted and truly preferred cat litter. Soy pellets might work for you, but for our single senior cat, it did not.”
“This litter has great odor control and is easy to scoop and clean. Even the dirty parts don't smell like cat pee/poop. I also love that it's biodegradable and dust free. My only complaint is that it gets kicked/tracked out of the box quite a bit, but part of that is probably my cat's personal habits. Will happily continue with KPC and this box!”
“I bought the organic soy to try with my two cats. I absolutely hated it. It clumps together weirdly and makes it difficult to clean without wasting a bunch of pellets. It would also stick to my cats feet, tracking it around the entire house, not just around their litter box. I have found this one to be the worst litter I've ever tried so far.”
“It is difficult to describe my level of detestment to cat litter. I chose the soy with little hope. It arrived, and I knew immediately I was going to love it. Very little of it leaves the box but when it does it's easy to pick up. You could do it with your fingers. It clumps harder than anything so it wastes so little. I'm sure Kitty poo would like it if I spent more money with them, but I've been able to extend my weekly delivery by 2 weeks because of how effective it is. There is absolutely no going back for me. And I like the cat a lot more now too.”
