“The dome helps to keep the litter in the box instead of all over the floor. My kitty is older, 18 years old in fact, and very messy. He loves to kick the litter all over the place and to spray on the nearby floor and wall. I may have to replace the dome more often than recommended, but that is better than scrubbing the floor and the wall!”

“There was a Lot less sand on the floor and it encourages the cats to enter and exit from the front where the mat is to clean off there feet.”
