“I'm not sure if it serves a purpose, but it makes the box look like more than 'just a box' I tape it on the sides to hold it on because my cats are big and knock it off sometimes. Fairly easy to assemble once you get the hang of it.”
“Dome serves it’s purpose, but wish it had some kind of waxy covering similar to the litter box bottom so that it didn’t absorb cat urine so quickly. I have a cat that pees straight backwards instead of down (kind of as if it was spraying) and the dome gets soaked in the first week. Please consider re-engineering the dome to last a bit longer so I don’t have to get one with each new box.”
