“Spilled some red wine onto a painted, gyprock wall and sprayed it quickly with koh. Big mistake! The koh cleaner reacted with the wine and made an insoluble stain - nothing would remove it. Had to paint the wall!! Surprisingly a general purpose cleaner removed some of the wine stain that had not been treated with koh!”
