“I suffer from anxiety and have been utilizing controlled breathing almost constantly for a long time to stay level. If you are stressed, it is easy to forget and go back to shallow breathing. It does help to have an object with which to remain focused. I agree it's a bit spendy for a stainless steel tube, but I need all the help I can get.
