“So a couple of things- I suffer generally crippling anxiety. This is a tool not a cure. And I'm okay with that, that's what I signed on for. I have bought two of these so far. Both have come with lovely packaging. I also absolutely recommend the stronger chain if you are going to wear it literally all the time like I do. Some things I don't love- they should give you a tool to clean it- especially at the price. A qtip doesn't even fit. I think it is too expensive, by about $30, for what it is. It's not solid sterling or anything like that. Lastly, I'm on the fence on if this is culturally appropriation after reading about its development. Does it benefit the people it was adapted from? I don't know but I would like to. All of this aside I do like the shift even if the only effect is the weight of it being there as kind of a reminder to calm down.”
