If you can make a jerky without the cherries and the beetroot ( both high blood sugar spikers ), that appear to be in all of your jerky types, it would go a long way towards making your jerky type 2 diabetic more friendly ( and you know how many of those are in australia ? ...lots ). If you want some help with suggestions of alternative flavour enhancers, and a list of foods, spices, flavourings that aren't blood sugar friendly, and recipe suggestions, get in touch via my email.
