“I wanted to love this product but unfortunately it is not suitable for my sensitive skin. I broke out in a red blotchy rash after first use. My face was on fire! I am able to use other masks in the Kora range, however the turmeric mask does not agree with my skin type at all.”

Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry to hear that your skin has reacted to our Turmeric Brightening & Exfoliating Mask, this is rare but can occur if there is a sensitivity to the ingredients. After using the mask it's not uncommon to notice a little bit of redness after use due to the highly activated ingredients, increased circulation and detoxification process. Any redness should have subsided after 15-20 minutes. However, if you are having a reaction as you described, please cease using the product and contact our customer service team.

“Tumeric is the latest health fad, despite most of the research actually focusing on curcumin. Tumeric is about 3% curcumin, and looking at the lengthy ingredient list for this particular produce, it's probably only in there in very small quantities.
I have psoriasis, and I found that this actually made it worse. It got rid of the dead skin, but that was mostly through rubbing - not anything the mask did. The smell is reasonably pleasant, but the amount of ingredients (including Benzyl Alcohol, which is drying because of its low molecular weight) is concerning. Just because something is natural, does not mean it is good for you, or good for your skin.”
“Amazing product! The moment it hit my skin, it felt so refreshing and cooling (thanks, peppermint!). The exfoliation beads were slightly rough for my sensitive skin though, but it did a good job overall! The only downside is the price point, wish it was a tad more affordable!”
