“At first i thought this was amazing.....but unfortunately just ended up creating a different kind of b.o. where i would have to reapply every day anyway. Although the smell wasn't as bad as my normal b.o. that with the sweating has made me return to my normal deodorant. I have recommended to friends that it has worked great for.”

Hey Gerelle, in most cases where it doesn't settle in straight away is where the skin is adjusting from a harsh style of deodorant. Get in contact with us so we can do some troubleshooting with you and see if we can get Lavilin working for you.

If you find you have been applying Lavilin every day and it's still not working. The best thing to do is to find a time you can go commando. That means you won't wear any deodorant for 3 days. Just have a quick shower when you get whiffy. This will allow your skin to rest and give Lavilin time to work its magic. Another thing to take into account is if you have been stressed. This can cause Lavilin to have a bit of a wobble. Usually, as you are able to de-stress and with time Lavilin will kick in and start working again. “I had high hopes for this deodorant, but unfortunately it doesn't hold up as well as its competitor No Pong. Although the formula is more gentle, it is difficult to spread unless skin is slightly damp and unfortunately at the end of the day, I can still notice faint odour. Despite following all the instructions, for me, this deodorant still requires daily application in order to work. For me, this deodorant is just not cost effective based on its performance. The container is also awkwardly shaped.”

So, the reason you are not lasting as long is that those deodorants are highly alkaline and corrosive on the skin's protective acid layer and it will take much longer for your skin to heal back to normal acidic levels. Your skin is going to need some rest and recovery time. I would recommend not using any deodorant for as long as you can. Ideally, a week would be good if you can. Then give Lavilin another go and see if you are able to last longer. It will be worth contacting us and we can send you some of the foot samples to use on your underarms. They are slightly stronger and can be just what is needed to get the bacteria under control and you lasting longer.
