I fired these on and went walking. Worked well and done exactly what they said. Probably better for people with a normal lawn good drainage regular sunlight. My lawn has awful drainage so I needed to really aerate well and put a layer of topsoil on to get the grass growing again. For that I would recommend an electric aerator.

A useful bit of kit for lawn aeration. but took some experimenting before I was able to use them effectively.I have clay soil which makes the spikes very difficult to withdraw when the soil is wet and too had to make effective holes when the soil is dry.In addition I had to try several different techniques when walking with the aerators on my feet due to the sticky nature of the soil. Walking forwards I found that my heels tended to slip out of the sandals. I wouldnt recommend walking sideways like a crab as if you loose your balance as I did there is a good chance of damaging your knees unless you fall over backwards.Personally I found walking backwards to be the safest and most effective way of using these sandals on relatively heavy soil but walking forwards works fine on lighter soils.

The quality of the soles is excellent however keeping them attached to your feet with the method of straps is poor.I ended up using only one foot took longer but safer

Used only once so far but very pleased. Much more effective than the old garden fork. You have to be very deliberate with your stride pattern I found side to side best or you can walk out of them.
