“This Yucca Wetta liquid appears to be a very concentrated surfactant extracted from the Yucca plant that produces a natural surfactant to modify the contact angle of fluids in order to access water buried deep down in arid desert soils. We have applied it onto an almost bare and dry 10 sq.m strip of grass at the side of the house which we have recently overseeded with Lawnsmith 'Staygreen' lawn seed mixture combined with some lawn dressing. This strip of grass sees very little sun and is dried in summer by funnelled winds. The Yucca Wetta seems to have worked well and the new grass is germinating fairly evenly. Applied water is clearly sinking well down into the soil after two applications of the Yucca Wetta two weeks apart at a concentration of approx. 40ml in 20 litres of water in order to apply it evenly over the 10 sq.m strip. We think it is a very good product.”

“My project this time didn't relate to my lawn but Lawnsmith was where I found the product I needed. Preparing a border for some high value planting but with the dry summer we've had the soil had become totally hydrophobic. I needed a wetting agent that would be complimentary to the micorrhizal fungus additive I would use at planting. Most chemical surfactants would impair the growth of the micorrhizea but Yucca Wetta being entirely organic is perfect for my needs.”
“Have used for the last two years. Definitely some positive impact, but needs to be started early in the year for greatest benefit. Recent dry weather has still taken a toll without rainfall.”
