“The granules in this fertilizer are up to 8mm in diameter which wouldn't go through the holes in my spreader.
Ended up applying by hand which took ages compared to the spreader.
Even after significant rain the large granules remained on the top of the grass. Brushing wouldn't work it into the grass either. If your lawn grasses are long and coarse it may work in, but my grasses are short and fine so the granules can't get to the root zone.
I have just cut the grass which has removed most of the large granules, which defeats the point of putting it on in the first place.”
